08/06/2010 - Munich, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Bayern Munich's Germany World Cup star Thomas Muller has signed a contract extension to tie him to the Bundesliga giants until the summer of 2015.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the last 12 months, being named as the Young Player of the tournament in South Africa, as well as winning the Golden Shoe after scoring five goals and contributing three assists.

A delighted Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the club's official website: "FC Bayern rewards performances and the performances of Thomas Muller last season were extraordinary.

"Thomas has given a lot of pleasure to us and to football fans. We are delighted that his long-term future lies with Bayern."

Muller made his Bayern debut in August 2008 and earned a new contract just a matter of months ago which committed him to Bayern until the summer of 2013.
