Golf Betting Lines

Some fatuous people of faith, insulated by their religious zealotry, might scoff at the loss of this recreational outlet and see it simply as good trumping evil. But bettors realize how they will be compromised. They know what it means to bet into lines that force players to pay a premium to back local teams, or which gives them no alternative to usurious vig -- to mention just a few of the disadvantages that are alleviated by the offshore industry.

The mind-numbing pablum that comes out of the mouths of these politicos is nauseating. But they live in their fantasy world because they get very little feedback that upbraids them for being so insular and out of touch with the rest of our nation’s citizenry.

It falls upon the rest of us who enjoy the freedom to wager online, and do not wish to return to the dark ages in which illicit gambling was the only alternative to abstinence, to turn the tide. While Republicans are big fans of the simplistic credo, “Just Say No,” the rest of us have better sense.

While many performance enhancers and golf training aids have been introduced over the years they have only addressed the physical element. Until now, no company has ever carried any product that addressed both the mental and the physical factors of challenging sports activities. Most professional athletes say this combination together is the advantage that most everyone needs to play at their best.

The new golf training aid and performance enhancer called Mind Drive is the new breakthrough product that everyone is talking about. PGA Golf Pros are using it and now PGA Golf Instructors are recommending it to their students.

The company now has a chance to showcase all the benefits of Mind Drive today, July 10th on the Golf Channel at 5:30pm Eastern Daylight Time. The 30-minute presentation hosted by PGA announcer Bill Patrick features PGA Tour Golf Pros such as Vaughn Taylor, D.A. Points, Bubba Dickerson, Tag Ridings, John Engler, Bill Glasson, Ryan Palmer and PGA Long Drive Champion Brain Pavlet about their experiences using Mind Drive.

One of the doctors that tested the product, Dr. Taras Kochno M.D. of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in Bradenton, Florida presents the testing of Mind Drive, which concluded that over 80% of the participants tested taking the product noticed dramatic improvements in club head speed, swing consistency and club face angle.

Academy Award Betting Odds for Best Picture Offer Great Value

If there is any category that is not an obvious win for any one nominee in this year's Academy Awards, it would be for Best Picture.  Sure the Departed is a 5/7 favorite, but that's hardly anything when we look at Helen Mirren and her "out-of-reach" 1 to 40 odds (which means you would win a whopping $1 for every $40 bet).

For value, take a look at MySportsbook.com Oscars betting odds on my personal favorite, The Queen - a remarkable 12 to 1 long shot.  The film hasn't won any pre-awards for Best Picture (compared to The Departed and Little Miss Sunshine), but there is a tremendous following and it is a strong enough film to warrant a surprise win.

TV Guide advises Oscar watchers should be cautioned not to discount the  drama "Babel" with its strong social themes about overcoming communication gaps among people of different cultures.

"While 'Babel' lost several guild awards to 'Sunshine' and 'Departed,'  it still enjoys loyal support, and historically Oscar voters favor dramas with social messages over comedies like 'Sunshine' and violent crime movies like 'Departed'."

"It hasn't done well in the guilds, which means there isn't much industry support," said Tom O'Neil of awards site TheEnvelope.com, "But several critics are expecting it to win, and that gets my attention." Babel had 7 to 2 odds at press time.

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
